Terms

Effective date: August 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sight, including our website, app, APIs, and related smart contracts (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, connecting a wallet, placing a prediction, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Important: 14-day claim window

When a prediction round resolves, you must claim any winnings or refunds within fourteen (14) days of the round’s on-chain resolution time (the “Claim Window”).

If you do not successfully claim within the Claim Window, your right to claim those funds expires. After the Claim Window ends, remaining ETH in the round contract — including unclaimed payouts, unpaid protocol fees, and residual balances — may be swept to the protocol fee recipient via the on-chain sweepUnclaimed() function. Sight and the protocol fee recipient may clear, retain, or otherwise dispose of those funds, and you permanently forfeit any claim to them.

You are solely responsible for monitoring round resolution, claiming in time, paying network fees, and ensuring your wallet can receive ETH. Failure to claim because of lost keys, forgotten wallets, interface downtime, or any other reason does not extend the Claim Window.

1. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law and must not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so (including by sanctions or local law). The Service involves digital assets and irreversible blockchain transactions. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you.

2. The Service

Sight provides an interface and related infrastructure for short-term UP/DOWN prediction markets on supported networks (including Robinhood Chain). Outcomes are determined by on-chain price data from configured Uniswap pools according to each round’s smart contracts. Sightets, resolution, claims, refunds, fees, and sweeps are executed by smart contracts; Sight does not custody your private keys.

3. Predictions, fees, and payouts

  • By placing a prediction you send ETH to the applicable round contract under that contract’s rules (including minimum/maximum stake, lock period, and resolution logic).
  • Winning positions typically share the pot pro-rata after a protocol fee (currently 2% on decisive outcomes, subject to on-chain parameters). Ties or other refund-mode outcomes may return stake without that fee, as implemented on-chain.
  • Estimated payouts shown in the interface are informational only. Actual amounts are determined by smart contract state at claim time.
  • Protocol fees and, after the Claim Window, swept unclaimed balances are paid to the configured protocol fee recipient.

4. Claims and unclaimed funds

This section restates and controls your rights regarding claims:

  • Claim Window. You must call claim (via the Service or directly on-chain) within 14 days after the round’s resolvedAt timestamp.
  • Expiration. After the Claim Window, claim() reverts. Pending payout views may return zero.
  • Sweep. After the Claim Window, anyone may invoke sweepUnclaimed(), which sends the round’s remaining ETH balance to the protocol fee recipient. You agree that unclaimed funds after the Claim Window are not owed to you and may be cleared without further notice.
  • No bailout. Sight has no obligation to restore, recreate, or manually pay amounts you failed to claim in time.

5. Wallets, keys, and transactions

You are solely responsible for your wallet, seed phrases, private keys, device security, and all transactions signed from your accounts. Blockchain transactions are typically irreversible. Sight is not liable for lost, stolen, or inaccessible keys, or for failed or delayed network transactions.

6. Accounts and acceptable use

If you create a Sight profile, you must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to exploit bugs, manipulate oracles or markets unlawfully, interfere with other users, scrape abusively, or violate applicable law. We may suspend or terminate access to the interface for violations or risk reasons, without affecting on-chain balances you remain able to interact with directly (subject to contract rules, including the Claim Window).

7. No advice; experimental software

The Service is provided for informational and entertainment-style prediction use. Nothing on Sight is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Smart contracts and interfaces may contain bugs or behave unexpectedly. You use the Service at your own risk and should only stake amounts you can afford to lose — including amounts you might forfeit by missing the Claim Window.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, accurate interface estimates, or that smart contracts will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sight and its contributors, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost digital assets — including assets swept or forfeited after an expired Claim Window — arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the protocol fees you paid through the Service in the three months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sight and its contributors, operators, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your predictions, your failure to claim within the Claim Window, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes to the Claim Window length would also require corresponding on-chain parameter or contract changes for new rounds; existing rounds remain governed by their deployed contract code.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed through the channels Sight publishes in the app or official social accounts.

These Terms are a product agreement for using Sight. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
